Anybody want to recommend a brand/shape recoil pad for a shotgun used in home defense and some range work.
I will be using a more squared up stance.
From reading, maybe convex (curved out) is better but not sure.
Broke the forearm on a m39 Finnish mosin nagant I have. Bought an unfinished new old stock from gunbroker. Wonder how I should finish it to match. Anybody know historically what they used in the Finnish army? Thanks.
Thanks for replies.
In this vein, someone recommend a 22lr pistol? I only know rugers are quite famous.
Maybe should get something light so as much recoil as possible?
I carry a m&p shield so nothing equivalent.
By practicing I mean shooting at the range. Maybe competition like IDPA if that's a thing.
Ammo price difference is so big. Can mean a lot more practice.
Everyone should get a personal locator beacon for going off trail. I use it for scuba diving in very remote spots. It's not that useful stuck in water for days but on land it's quite useful when lost.

For Benelli M4.
Typically people have used a metal or wood plate and some epoxy (marine tex) for strengthening butt and attaching recoil pad. Then attached some recoil pad that is grinded down to fit.
I will try it if can't find an experienced gunsmith to do it. Just that I will take longer...
The problem is domestic airport design in the USA.
In some other countries and in the international section of USA airports, the baggage claim is within the passenger restricted zone. So random strangers can't walk into the airport and steal luggage.
Passengers can steal other people's...
1. Is kneeling an alternative to sitting as a shooting position? I'm just curious because kneeling would seem to be faster to get into than sitting, and more manoeuvrable after.

1. You can just write ORM-D you don't need a nice sticker.
2. If you want a nice sticker the UPS customer center will have one, unless you get them to pickup instead.
3. "ORM-D" would be enough, don't need "ORM-D small arms cartridge".
4. UPS over fedex.
The plumber, mechanic, and computer repair dude have technical knowledge that allows them to do their job better. Something that takes months or years of education or experience. And they get better with experience. You pay more for a master plumber or mechanic. I've never heard of paying more...
I have the brownells and they still aren't perfect.
As the picture above shows, they get wider too quickly for me and so the only contact edges are at the wider parts.
Why can't anybody make a screwdriver which stays fixed width a little longer so it fits screws perfectly? Yes it's a little...
This makes utterly no sense.
1. Seller does not know your max bid.
2. Ebay automatically puts in the next minimum bid no matter how high the other bidder bid. So even if the bidder bid $5000 the number ebay is showing is the $42.77
3. The minimum incremental bid for something that's $40+ is not...

There's no guarantee a Democrat president (ok maybe Hillary) will pass a gun control bill, just like there's no guarantee a Republican president will not pass a gun control bill, or...
Erm.. so why didn't the officer arrest the guy for trepassing and destruction of property? I'm not sure the officer acted correctly, do you know whether he let the guy go only because he thought the perp was an illegal alien? Or he let him go because he didn't think the crime was serious enough...
