I've read, heard, etc... that for a CCW handgun you should put atleast a few hundred rounds (some say upto 500 rounds) through your carry weapon to make sure that it is reliable enough to trust when it counts. What is the conventional wisdom for a HD/SD shotgun? How many rounds?
