    .40 loading advice

HS-6 will give you the push you are looking for with 180gr cast or moly bullets. Power Pistol is another good choice with the bullets I mentioned as well.

200gr RNFP IDP #4 Missouri Bullet OAL question

I just order some 200gr RNFP IDP #4 Missouri Bullets to load up in my 1911. Just curious as to what OAL you guys are running with this bullet. I'll be using WST powder if that helps. I've got plenty of data for the powder and bullet weight, but nothing specific for this type of bullet...

Please check this 45ACP load for me

I've used that load and although I didn't see and pressure signs or anything bad like that, I did find the load warm for plated bullets. It felt fine when shooting jacketed bullets of the same weight. I backed it down to 4.5gr and was much more pleased with the results.

    progressive reloading

I found the pro 1000 to run better than the loadmaster, but I will not buy another Lee progressive press ever again. If you enjoy tinkering with things, then the Lee won't bother you, but I would save your cash and get a Dillon. Just my .02 cents.

    Alternatives to Surefire Forend

There's not much out there other than a railed forend and attaching your own light, or some type of barrel or mag tube mount and your own light. There is also a picatinny barrel clamp you could mount a TLR on I guess also. You will still be close to $100 in cost by the time you factor...

I shoot at Clinton County...at the bottom of the above post. It is north of Cincy off 71 in Wilmington. A lot of folk from Cincy shoot there and I beleive is the closest to Cincy. There is a match there this coming Sunday (sept. 5th). Great bunch of guys shoot there. PM me if you decide to...

    Mini 14 optic question...

What optic are you running on your Mini 14? Also, where do you have it mounted? Are you using the supplied base or an after market mount to get the optic forward (scout mount)? I am looking for options for my Mini 14 tactical model. In the market for a red dot. I would like to see some pics if...

Mag Pouch for IDPA and CCW?

Tell that to the guys I shoot with. IDPA is a game, although some guys use it as training for some reason or another. I started out with an Uncle Mike's kydex holster and a fobus mag pouch. As I progressed in the game, I realized that maybe I could improve with better equipment. That proved...

Mag Pouch for IDPA and CCW?

I use a G-Code double mag pouch for IDPA. I use custom singles made buy a guy (Tactical Kydex) on Glock Talk. If you are using IDPA as training, then use what you carry or plan to carry. If not, then IDPA is a game, and use what stretches the rules;).

Narrowed it down - which carry gun?

I went for the G30SF as 45 acp ammo is more readily available in my area than 10mm. Size wise, they are the same.
