    Aprox. Value of S&W 1950 Target .44?

That is simply gorgeous! Your Dad's gun? It's priceless. Tell your gun collector buddy to get lost. --Well, not in those words exactly. You can be nice about it, but don't sell it. It's a treasure, not a commodity. --Michael

My first revolver, and the start of a beautiful friendship

They are awesome guns, aren't they? One of the many things I love about my 29 is that it is what it's supposed to be. Everything it was designed to do, it does really well. I've been playing with a little longer-range shooting. I'm going to have to set up some steel plates... --Michael

    Old, S&W Break-Actions...

All, I'm parallel-posting this thread on a couple of forums. So, if you run across it elsewhere, please bear with me. Could any of you please tell me what I'm looking at here, about how old they are, and what they might be worth? Thanks! . The nickel one has a...

    Double Star AR parts?

I wound up with a Doublestar on a recommendation of the guy that built the thing. He said that it's the best lower he's worked with. "Not the most expensive, but the best." FWIW. I think the gun shoots well, but I have limited experience with these things. I suppose time will tell on the...

    New Addition to the Family

Yeh, I thought the chihuahua made a nice addition to the "family feel" of the shot. She thinks she's a cat, though.

    New Addition to the Family

Since certain individuals trying to get in the White House have made it no secret how they feel about our sport, the wife and I decided to make some key firearm purchases prior to the election, just in case we have two years of unchecked, Anti-gun, Federal government. This weekend, we purchased...

    help a guy out.

This would serve your needs well, depending on local laws on caliber requirements for deer hunting. JMHO, of course.

What do you like about revolvers?

Hawk, seriously, dude. I'm relatively new to shooting. I'm young and had no experience prior to 2008. I had entertained the thought of getting a gun for years, but couldn't afford one. I was all set up to become a mall-ninja but for one, fine detail. I was seduced by the beauty and...

    S&W revolver info needed.

I wonder why they have not released a 3" in the Classics series. It seems like with the demand it would be a far better seller than the 4" that they offer. Who knows? --Michael

    S&W 500---any owners with opinions?

The better question might be "any owners WITHOUT opinions?" I've never heard anyone say, "Yeah. I got a .500. Issalright, I suppose..." --Michael

hello, new to revolver page, looking for .357

I've never shot it without ear protection. I really like my hearing. The flame did not affect my low-light level vision. That really surprised me, but I didn't have any more than some spots in my vision - it definitely didn't leave me blind. --Michael

hello, new to revolver page, looking for .357

None taken, I assure you. Seriously, though. I was shocked! There's a little fire out the top, but not nearly what you might imagine. --Michael
