Double Star AR parts?

I have a DS lower and a J&T upper (J&T is the same company; they just use different branding for parts and accessories vs. complete rifles). I had to buy it in parts in order to meet the letter of some California laws, but in the end, I have a DoubleStar rifle.

Quality is great. The upper is a good deal nicer inside (polished, no tool marks) than the other upper I bought from someone else.

I wound up with a Doublestar on a recommendation of the guy that built the thing. He said that it's the best lower he's worked with. "Not the most expensive, but the best." FWIW. I think the gun shoots well, but I have limited experience with these things. I suppose time will tell on the durability.

can't say much about their other parts, but I grabbed one of their lowers for my del-ton kit. I've heard several people say that their lowers are great. So far, I agree with them every bit.

I have a DSC Patrol Rifle from them... shoots well, a lot better than I can shoot it (aka. I am the liability, not the firearm.)

I've seen some of their uppers around a couple days ago. They look nice, and the few reviews of them are generally positive. Not too bad a price either.

double star makes good stuff

generally they are in the league with Del-ton. i certainly wouldn't think twice about putting together a plinker with their parts.
