I received my C & R license today but that's it.
Nothing about record keeping or anything else, I guess they send that later?
There is a gun show coming up in Concord, NH on April 12th.
Other than a signed copy of my C & R, what else do I need to transact a sale if I find a C & R firearm I...
One of the questions they asked on the app was: Have you ever held an FFL before.
It said a YES answer could be a reason to deny a C&R license.
Anyone know why?:(
I just sent in my app as well.
How long does it generally take to get the license back fron ATF?
I had a class 1 FFL until the laws were dramatically changed, I gave it up March 1995.
357 magnum transfers it's energy much better than a 44 magnum.
The reason being is, with 125 grain JHP for the 357 and 240JHP for the 44 mag, the 357 mag is more likely to stay in the body ( of a human ) thus transfering ALL it's energy, whereas the 44 mag is more likely to go right through ( a...
I'm thinking about buying a machine/sub machine gun.
I live in Maine, I know you have to buy it through a class 3 ( I think ) dealer in your home state.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I haven't considered this since the 1980's so I don't even have a clue on what the prices are...

I can't say enough about Rich & Roger, they explained everything in a clear, easy to understand way for the...

She looking at getting a...
dakotascott, thanks for your help, I appreciate it greatly.
Roger is out of the store until 2/24/08.
I e-mailed Rich at Eastern, I'm just waiting for him to get back to me.
I'm glad I found this site.
There is a true wealth of information here.:)
Yes, It is Eastern Security safes. Roger wasn't in on Saturday so I talked to Rich. He seemed to know his stuff but, I just received a reply from Champion safes and they say it is 10 gauge.
Rich told me it was 3/16 thick body and that 2005 was the last year for that.
I'm in the process of buying a gun safe.
The dealer I went to made me a very good deal on a 2005 leftover, Champion brand, Triumph model safe 72 1/2X 41 X 28. I haven't taken delivery yet.
The salesman said the body of the safe was 3/16 inch thick.
The new Champion Triumph safe is only 10...
