only problem is i have more than a couple k31s already.
okay what is the going price for no.4 mk 1
and no.1 mk. 3
also, which is better? i am not educated between the models
i have three k31's, got them when they were cheap. yeah my budget is high cause i have been saving up for like, 6 months.
um, im liking these suggestions!
question about handloading the .303. i heard enfields have extra large chambers that would over work brass.
is there some kind of...
for my bday present to myself.
i love milsurps so it has to be that and these-
NOT semi auto
more than 60 years old
either easy to mount a scope onto NON permanently
or have aperture sights. preferably the latter.
not impossible to reload for, i dont mind casting for the bullets...
oh sorry i didnt think there was much variation in these :scrutiny:
exactly like that.
yeah it does point nice for me AFTER i got used to the angle of the grip.
I noticed i have to cock my wrist with all my revolvers, so this is different but feels better now that im used to it.
I wish...
the thing is though is that with the taurus's crummy trigger after i get used to it i can shoot really good with the mod 66.
so the main question was that would that same thing apply to rifles, getting used to a heavy trigger would make even a 7 lb trigger feel pretty nice.
i appreciate...
love my sa-m7 classic!! I know i know it isnt an akm
BUT
it is undoubtedly the most beautiful firearm i own second only to my minty
k31!!
well...it is actually a toss up between that and my equally minty m96
either way it shoots better than any romanian or yugo i have seen, with my...
i noticed that they are very much harder to push down and very much more flimsy than the mosin or swedish strippers I'm used to. i always just push down very close to the head, but being careful not to cut myself in the process.
also my strippers are galvanized steel (i think, not 100%) and...
after 1500 rounds through my mp-15 i have haven't had any sort of malfunction, save for working up loads, but i have seen a cartridge that "trainwrecked" pushed the bullet back into the case.
I'm sure it would help me get better groups but I'm trying to focus on an easy way to train. as i said before the super heavy trigger on the taurus made shooting the smith a snap so i'm looking at the same picture.
on the other hand i will probably be shooting the ruger most of the time...
i usually get about 1.5 inches at 25 yards offhand for three rounds. more than five though and groups open up to about 2.5, even on a bench at fifty yards they open up to 2 inches (when i had a scope on it)
i have a set of tech sights on it.
ah i guess i wont put down the money to get a great trigger.
i figure i can deal with it like i have most the other guns i have (mil surps).
heck the best trigger i have on a rifle is my k31, which is actually really good....but besides that i have pretty much dealt with it.
i dont generally hear people talk about 22lr much but all the big macho type guys dislike them.
and 22-rimfire, i'm not sure what your talking about, does s&w have a new gun with the mod 66 number?
the one i have is a k-frame .357, the stainless equivalent to the popular mod 19
AR's do not have the same type of ejectors as bolt actions.
so, for an ar when you pull back the bolt it should eject any round in the chamber as soon as it is pulled back far enough. no matter how hard you pull it back.
so yes i would say he should check out that extractor
edit-unless...
my primary practice tool is a ruger 10/22
lots of people try to bash 22 rimfire but it is way cheaper than even reloading.
now it might not be a 100% duplicate to using the real deal it definately helps and is a lot of fun.
now my question is about trigger pull.
for pistols i practice...
I made one once for a ruger mini-14, though it only worked for about fifty shots. worked pretty good for a 10/22 though. ;)
they are really simple actually, but i don't know what kind of laws there are so i won't say anymore :p
