Top H&K poll- for the H&K owners and enthusiasts!

Voted 2000 SK because I love its size, weight and ergonomics with the 13 round mags and x-grip adapters especially. It's a fine shooter too. P-30 is the most comfortable pistol I've ever held in my hand though and a surprisingly soft shooter in 40 S&W.

    shooting the 40...

The 180s seem to be the most accurate in my HK and my Sig.

Interesting private handgun sale situation involving LEO in NC - Need your help!!!

Does he need PPP/CCP just to sell you the P7M8? If not you might just try to buy it straight up and sell your other guns to someone with the proper permits.

    40 cal options

I have the Sig 229 in .40 and I would buy it again. It's very accurate, a joy to shoot and feels rock solid.

    Troubles with MidwayUSA website?

When I pull it up, it's right there on the left side between "Gifts, toys & hobbies" and "hunting".

Which is the better DUTY or Combat handgun

I've got several firearms to choose from but when the SHTF ( e.g. dog barks at wind in the middle of the night ;)) I always reach for the Sig.

    EOTech vs. Aimpoint

I'm no expert by any means but I believe that the difference in battery life is because the EOTech uses laser light and the Aimpoint uses an LED. I leave my Aimpoint on all the time. I'm curious to see just how long it will last so I just turned it on 10 one day and marked it on the calender.

How accurate should I expect a 22lr to be?

I wouldn't be too upset with those groupings considering "a bit of wind".

Taurus: your verdict on Taurus auto-loaders.

I have a 99af that's been a good one but it's the only Taurus I have experience with. I've had it for 20-something years and never any problems. Their new stuff looks good and they market it well. They seem to be priced affordably too. I don't think I'd have a problem buying another even...

    CZ 52 mag issue

I've seen it happen. There's another part besides the spring that comes out too and it's what locks the bottom plate in place so you may be missing that piece as well. My bad. I was thinking about a different mag. I've never seen the inside of a 52 mag so I don't know how it's supposed...

looking for a good 40 S&W fullsize frame

Sig 229 was my choice and I've never regretted it.

    Real of fake Aimpoint?

I've got one and it looks real to me although mine didn't come with those flip-up lens caps either.

Cant afford .45 acp, thinking bout going 9mm

Both of those are fine guns but I'd go with the Sig.

    Taurus

I'm a big fan of my PT99AF. It's been superb. I wouldn't mind adding a compact semi auto and a .357 revolver some day to keep it company.

Best bang for the buck deal on .40 S&W pistol?

If I was looking to get a good .40 that was low on the $$$ scale, I'd go with that FNP or a Sig police trade-in.

    Medieval Style Crossbow, Rubber Operated

It appears accurate and powerful. Awesome as usual. :)

    22LR "long range" practice.

I love trying to stretch the .22 out a little from time to time. It's fun, challenging and rewarding when you finally get it dialed in.

My UPS guy and OPSEC after several large ammo purchases

I was just on the UPS forum and there was a thread from one driver who was complaining that his back was hurting from delivering case after case of ammo. That's probably your guy. ;)

Taurus pt92: Is it worth it?

I've had the PT99af for about 20 years and it's been top notch.

G26 the most reliable small 9mm?

I'm sure that there's nothing wrong with the Glock but I'll stick with the HK2000sk too. Mine has been nothing but reliable and I prefer semi-autos that have a hammer and a decocker.
