As a lefty, the safety on the Bersa is a bit inconvenient. Is the Bersa safe to carry decocked with the safety off? It doesn't seem like this would make it any different from carrying a DAO semi-auto, but it never hurts to ask people with experience.

I'm about to pick up a Bersa Thunder .380 as a CCW piece. I've seen the duotone and the nickel, but not the matte. The nickel looks _really_ nice. I'm curious what will hold up best when the gun is carried and living in a holster most of the time. Any insights?
