Said putz claimed kidnapping in Canadian courts, and then got his arse handed to him by the US federal court.
The putz's US lawyer has been honest with said putz and even 'splained that this is pointless ... he doesn't want to get caught in the frivolous litigation suit that follows.
Said putz...
Getting mugged at least once in your life is becoming the norm, not the exception.
I have been involved in over a half-dozen incidents where the stupid factor went up to "eleven". In two of them, I was shot at before I returned fire. In the others, I was able to cause the attacker to...
Here ya go:
The revolver lives in my pocket with the other junk. The green tape is there to keep pocket lint out of the revolver's barrel.
The yellow thing is a seatbelt cutter / window breaker. Works good on blister packs as well.
Getting out of the truck was an error.
A pickup truck packs more foot-pounds than a pistol ... it makes a fairly deadly weapon. And an angry biker has to get you out of said truck before he can successfully beat you up. By getting out, you have disarmed yourself.
My solution:
Drive to...
My water-prrof routine for a Mosin Nagant trunk carbine:
Use a plastic or fiberglass stock.
Spray the firearm with a coat of black bake-on paint, like Brownell's guncoat, or something similar.
Coat everything you can't paint with water pump grease.
Put a finger-cot over the end of the barrel...
Note that the festivities were started when the victim complied with the perp's demand for the time of day.
This is starting to become a common pattern for detecting willingness to comply with orders by thugs.
I would suggest, instead of complying, putting your hand on your firearm...
The cat has played a critical role in history. An invention which has been praised and demonized, served hero and villain alike, and carries with it moral responsibility. To understand the cat is to better understand history. "From Tales of the Cat"
Superior martial arts defensive move:
The Horizon Block.
If you put the horizon between you and your opponent, he cannot hurt you ... unless he is using extremely heavy artillery.
If he hadn't given his permission, I had planned to take a week off, and suggest to my co-workers that they burn some PTO and do the same.
His building ... he gets to make the rules. I can either follow them, or just choose not to be there.
You could just ask ...
We had a fired employee show up once, and threaten to kill everyone involved in his firing ... basically a nut with anger management issues who kept getting hauled off from work by the cops for not making support payments.
Most of us believed he would follow through on...
Yep. "Could you gimmie (anything, a smoke, the time, spare change, etc) "
When strangers talk to you out of the blue, you should face them and elevate your alert level.
I just ask them how do they intend to disarm me? It's kinda hard when you have no weapons yourself.
My own government cannot use the army to disarm a bunch of Al Qaiada barbarians in Iraq ... so how can they possibly prevent me from being armed? EU governments cannot prevent criminals from...
+1 on Tallpine, and +10 on 911.
Get a simple heavy slide bolt if you are worried about a lockpicker.
And next time call 911. You pay taxes, so get something for your money.
A strong-side thigh holster is actually faster from a car seat. Your legs are up high in relation to your body.
A shoulder belt would still have a bit of a tangle problem with a shoulder holster.
Consider storing the firearms in ID or OR.
At least you can shoot them there on the weekends.
Of course, having to drive to Hermiston or CDA just to shoot sucks ...
