Having owned both and pocket carried both I can't agree this. The SP101 is the largest, and without researching, probably the heaviest of all the above listed guns. If you can't comfortably carry a j frame I can't imagine being able to do it with an sp101.

Batters the hell out of the back of the receiver. The PSL is over-gassed from the factory. With an adjustable gas block you can run heavy ball through a PSL. I can't remember where I saw it, but there is an adjustable gas block available online.

Just picked up a bulgarian 74 built on a Nodak spud receiver. Its a really fun gun. Almost no recoil at all and the surplus ammo is so cheap its hard not to just shoot for the sake of making noise and light.
