1/2-28 by 1/2-28 Adapter

Does anyone make an adapter that is 1/2-28 female by 1/2-28 male out of stainless or steel? Or would it be a custom made job?

My thinking is that this can go on a tacsol barrel to keep from taking the chance on the aluminum threads. I would leave it on the barrel and just take the suppressor on and off.

You could just try slowing down and taking your time when installing/removing coupled with occasional cleaning of the threads? My Tac65 Can has aluminum endcap so I just make sure take my time when putting it on or off my steel threades barrels and I haven't had a problem yet.

I am looking at a stainless can and was worried about the threads on the aluminum tacsol barrel. Figured an adapter would take away the worry.

You are correct however it will only become a real problem if you are careless in installing/removing your can. My buddy has a Spectre he mounts to his TacSol and has never had an issue. I'd recommend against any sort of adapter as I have a threaded barrel extension/adapter on my CZ Kadet and it tends to fill with lead which is a pain to scrape out. I have to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get bad enough to cause a baffle strike.
