Is there anything out there that's under $1000 and closer to $800?
Basically I'm tired of dragging my 13lb. CZ Varmint around like it's a hunting rifle and am looking for something with the following:
1. Top loading.
2. Non-proprietary scope mount/base.
3. Medium or lighter barrel contour.
4. .308 Short action. (I can't stand the CZ's "medium" action.)
Pluses:
1. <90 degree bolt lift.
2. 24" barrel.
3. Camo.
4. Irons.
While I was writing this post, I dound the Winchester M70 Featherweight that looks like it might be priced right. Any others?
