I have a paclite upper for a Ruger MK2 pistol and have been on the prowl for a frame and bolt. Hen's teeth. Really.

So, I bit the bullet and posted WTB ads on Armslist for a used MKII to be used as a "parts gun" to complete my paclite build. Stumbled upon a great deal on a stainless MKII with a 10" bull barrel. I'm wavering on breaking up this nice pistola for the frame and bolt.

My question- How much is the 10" barrel/receiver worth?

I don't know, but depending on the price, I might be interested in buying that off of you should you decide to sell it..... No guarantees, but I am somewhat interested...

Won't the paclite also fit a 22/45? These are much easier to find, unless you are like me looking for the MKII because you've got a bunch of magazines you'd rather not buy again.

Haven't seen a MKII for sale at a gun show in a long time -- MKIII and MKI are pretty easy to come by.

A MKI frame might work if its the "newer" ones that take the MKII 10 round mags.

I'm like you. Want to stay with the MKII. I have a couple MKII competition models and a large supply of mags. I don't want to deal with another mag platform.

10" guns bring mad money. I think a 10" receiver/barrel will easily bring $350....I would not break up the gun, though. I would just hang on to the 10". They are great for long range shooting. They generally will out group many .22 rifles.
