I realize $100 is a significant amount of money for most of us, but it isn't enough to get anyone a decent firearm or optic. Perhaps a $100 gift card that the recipient could use toward some nice optics or even another gun. You could get a decent knife as a gift under $100. I really like the Montana slings, but they are only about $40-$45. Perhaps a matching sling and belt for just over $100.

A good holster, 2-4 pistol mags, good tools (screwdriver set, etc), torque wrench in inch pounds, cleaning supplies, good one piece cleaning rods, gun vise for cleaning (tipton), AR furniture, grip panels for 1911, grips for a revolver, range bag, back pack.

That's all off the top of my head. Gun guys typically like knives and such too so a good pocket knife, a good LED carry light (Streamlight, Fenix)

Clearly $100 is not enough for many guns so I though it would cover a bit of good accessory to go with the guns. Yes $100 is a lot to most for a gift, it is for me. Maybe should have asked what your gift would be for around $20 as well.

cleaning kits and re-supply accessories, a warm pair of hunting gloves, wool socks, steel targets, (I just bought a steel target hanging system from a company called "Yankee Thunder" at a really good price, you supply a couple pieces of conduit and you're set to go.

If the person likes milsurps, I would find it a very memorable gift to get some accoutrements for one of my milsurp firearms. Such as a large item like a period bayonet, or several small items like bandoleers, period cleaning kits, helmets, clips/chargers, etc., throw in some literature or pictures specific to their use.

Depending on bayonet some would push past $100 but some not.

A pound of powder, not of bullets and 1k primers is or was about 100.00. A Wheeler torque driver, scope mounting kit, some less expensive chronographs are all about that price range.

I'd say a boyds stock bit that's probably between 2-3 hundred.

Couple years ago, dad bought me a lead sled and a laser bore sight kit. It was about $100 all together. Since I am (or at least was) a regular trader I swap a lot of scopes and I've used the crap out of them both. A good 1907 sling, some shooting bags or a bipod would be right nice as well. A good Case or Buck knife makes a fine gift for a hunter, too. Or Heck, a combo of the above would tickle me to death.
