Does an 1100 LT 20 ga barrel fit/function on an 1100 20 ga (not LT) receiver?

If so, if the receiver is 3" will a 2 3/4 barrel fit/work well on it?

Is there an advantage of an 1100LT over an 1100 for target (I'm not a hunter)?

No, LT-20 barrels will not work on non LT-20 receivers.

The standard weight 1100 20 ga (built on 12 ga frame) is great for clays. The added weight softens recoil and helps smooth the swing. I just bought one and have already broke 49 out of 50 skeet targets with it!

I owned an LT-20 and liked it a lot. I was a lot lighter than the standard weight, yet heavier than most 20 ga autos. It shot well.
