I can't seem to figure out a way to load either of these rounds without getting a bulge at the base of the bullet in the brass. The bulge is large enough to jam up my Beretta 92fs (Which is what I will be loading for). I'm loading using RCBS carbide dies. It happens if I use a crimp or do not. I'm using the TMJ seating plug. It came with that and a wad cutter style seating plug. I'm trying to seat these to 1.12. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well Speer says:
1.120" for the 124.
1.130" for the 147.

Maybe might be the brand of brass you are using has thicker / faster case wall taper.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm using Magtech brass at the moment but I will try some Winchester. Thanks for the correction on seating depth.
