I am new to reloading and have 400, 125 gr nosler BT bullets. I am reloading the 308 cal using hodgson vargent powder. I have looked all over the web but can not find the C.O.A.L I have looked and with different powders the overall length differs. from 2.742 to 2.800. ??? can anyone help me .... thanks Jerry

Nosler Manual #6 has a 125gr, solid base, ballistic tip
starting load of, Varget @ 46gr and velocity of 2863fps.
They list the C.O.A.L. @ 2.810".

Those are accurate bullets. I use them for varmints if I can't get any 110gr Hornady vmax's. Remember that's the maximum OAL. It really depends on your rifle as to what length would work best, but I generally try to stay a couple hundredths of an inch below OAL.

This thread should be moved to the reloading section.
