Ok guys I am thinking about buying some Mo bullet Co 180 grain bullets for my .350 legend build does anybody have any idea if it will accept .357 diameter bullets?

Ohio yes my box said they same thing but I’ve heard the barrels are setup for .355 bullets

Winchester claims on their website it's .357 but nearly all the commercial ammo out there is using .355 diameter bullets.

No one seems to know for sure. More info here: https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/whats-going-on-with-350-legend/

My tin foil hat theory that Winchester started with and developed it as a 9mm (.355) rifle cartridge and only when done or nearly done did they realize that 9mm was going to run afoul of several mid-west states' hunting regulations and is trying to ex-post-facto changed its nominal diameter to .357 to fix the problem.

Well if it turns out you can’t use a bullet bigger than .355/.356 I think it will flop

I have seen this debate over on Ohiosportsman.com and I swore my buddies Winchester SP box said .357 bullet diameter.
idk could be like ho remington 8mm mauser ammo uses a .321 bullet and not a .323. winchester has really messed things up, i want the 350 to work out. hope they get things straight soon. i think i have some 150 gr sp .358 bullets if yo want to try them.

He has settled on the Win factory SP and has several boxes. Me, I like to hit them with a 45-70. I don't believe in shooting deer with 9mm bullets. :uhoh:

A .357 diameter 180 grain bullet pushed by 25.00 grains of Lil’ Gun for over 2200 FPS is not shooting deer with a 9mm and that is what I am after with the 350L

Are getting the WFN or pugnose bullet?
If it's the WFN, I highly doubt if it will feed in an AR platform.

Yes, but if the bullets are indeed .355 then its a 9mm. :)

Just joking. I like poking the bear with the 45-70 is overkill guys. Hopefully all works well for you in your journey.

The Lee bullet sizing kit will happily draw jacketed .357” bullets down to .355”. I have doneso with thousands of jacketed rifle bullets to be used in a .357/44 revolver, starting .358-359, finishing .356-357”, refusing my throats at their original size, happily sliding with finger pressure at their finished size.
