So 35 Remington has been in limited factory and component production for a few years. Has me looking at alternative hunting loads and rifles. I see 350 Legend uses .357" bullets and range from 125 to 280 gr. I have quite a few 200gr .358" FTX bullets that haven't found a home in 35Rem cases yet. Has anyone tried using the 200gr FTX bullets in 350 Legend? If my math is right, that bullet should truck along right around 1900 FPS out of a 20" barrel.

Most 350 Legend bullets are .356 dia. I can shoot .357 dia out of mine but I hear most can't.
It's cheap plinking if you load 9mm pistol rounds. I normally hunt with 180grSP rounds, it goes through both sides of a deer like butter.

.358 bullets to large it needs .356 why Winchester did this Lord only knows I think it was a mistake but it did create the 165 grain FTX BULLET that I Love in mine so there’s that

If you can find a 360 Buckhammer, it will make using you existing bullets easier.
That is another option I am considering but less than 350L. For one, 350 fits an AR. And setting up ARs as hunting rifles appeals to me right now. And 360 Buckhammer is "too new" for me. I want something that is going to be around for awhile, which is why I picked 35Rem. Apparently it was a bit too old of an option.

You do have to size the jacketed 358s down to ~357(-) (Lee push-through/case sizing lube
I have plenty of case lube on hand. Is that a kind of die? Or another tool I don't know of? I haven't needed to reduce a diameter before.

Is that a kind of die?
(can also buy straight off of Amazon. I use them/multiple diameters all the
time for cast bullets. Jacketed too with a little case lube -- no problemmo.

Probably the best jacketed bullet for reloading is/was the SPEER 180 Flat nose. sized .356

But that was before more & more .355 high velocity hunting bullet became routinely available
