I have two Pietti's a .44 cal 1860 colt and a .44cal 1858 Remi ( couldn't decide which I liked better, so of cource I had to be fair, I got both) I love them both, for their cost they can't be beat. The colt I got from Dixie Gun works, great people to deal with. The Remington from Cabela's, also wonderful people to deal with.
The only problem I'm having now is trying to get my wife to understand that for me to truly be "fair" that I need to add a "Uberti" to the collection. It's just not right to play "favorites" by just having "Pietti's" and that it's only right to give Uberti a chance to prove it's self as well.
Please understand that it is only my belief in "fair play" that moves me to want to add to my collection.
Oh by the way if you belive any of this, let me know I have this "swamp land" and......................

Well... I managed to bring the first Chinook Salmon to the boat for the morning. The only problem is... it was just a little shy of being "keep it legal"... so... off the hook it was before getting inside the boat. One other guy got one the same size... and then the 11yr. old (boat's owner) hooked a nice one. Unfortunately, he was horsin' on the rod and it spit the unbarbed hook and got away. The boat owner had only a couple of hours available for fishin'... so, we were back on shore by 0900 hrs. So... I went to work yesterday afterall. All in all... had some fun and itchin' to go fishin' again soon.

The only civilised way to go fisuhing is with hand grenades and a big landing net. Nice clean catch and less effort - plus the bragging rights are unreal - nothing gets away!!!
