Does anyone know what where you can get 1911 grip panels that have a camo pattern but are made out of rubber? I found some on Ebay but they are hard polymer.
Buy black rubber ones you like and then paint them with a paint designed for flexible plastic like Krylon. Just curious why in the world would you want camo colored grips on a 1911?
You may find that painting rubber grips won't work as well as you hope. If you are wanting rubber Hogue-type grips, I would assume that there is enough flex in the rubber that paint will have a hard time sticking to for any length of time. It would probably work just fine for hard polymer though.
I just like how the camo looks, but I have black rubber grip panels with the Peirce finger grove add on and I realy like how that feels in the hand. Plus the camo grips make it so no one else can find my gun !
