The Alchemy Anomaly has NO hammer spur.
I think it was the 1986 GUN DIGEST that had a story from a writer who "converted" a model 41 S&W to more of a field/carry gun, and he took off (cut/grind) the back of the slide and frame to expose the internal hammer. In that story, there was a reference to "what's not there cannot bite you", and there was basically no spur at all at the back of the frame.
I've been doing that to my 1911's (except one of 'em) for a very long time.... back before it was hip to call the Colt Government Model, or Commander or Officer's a 1911. What ain't there cannot bite you. And that is the truth. Maybe some pistolero types wince at follow up shots and stability and what not. I don't care about that sort of thing, as I'm not shooting silhouettes at some fixed distance. If I ever have to yank out a pistol in defense, I'm certain it will be a ranges so close that sort of thing won't matter.
