I have just seen too many Wilson mags where that plastic follower has worn to the point of being unreliable. I've seen too many get jammed in the bottom of the mag.
The only other plastic followers I know of are Tripp, Metalform and Mag-Pack.
Tripp uses a metal insert in theirs to activate the slide stop.
The shelf in the orange Metalform follower lasts and lasts.
And my Mag-Packs aren't really old enough to worry about yet. They are holding up well even though the ball disappeared from one.
Even though I have several mags with plastic/nylon followers and they all work 100%, I much prefer metal followers for serious work.
