Thanks much! I wish I had a camera that I could adjust all that - My phone has a 5mp camera built in, and I can fiddle a little with exposure and whatnot, but nothing very detailed. The flash was my own mistake though - I've found that the best pictures are taken on a semi-cloudy day, with no flash, outside - Anything short of that takes a high dollar professional camera or someone with a lot better skills than I have!Great looking grips for self made.
Flash is a no-no, you get those hot spots with it. A dim picture is better than a brighter one with that bright of a spot. For dim good contrast photos you can just use software to brighten the entire image. If you try to brighten yours it gets worse. For real good pictures you need soft light. Your color balance is off as well, way too yellow. Play with your aperture settings and use much slower film and a longer shutter. Should get you better color saturation. As with anything, photography takes practice.
