1911 Single Stack question...

I'll be shooting my first USPSA Single Stack match soon. I have a 1911 chambered in .45ACP that I will shoot. My friend doesn't own a 1911, but I was going to let him use my 1911 chambered in 9mm. The only problem is that it is a Para LDA double-stack. Would he be allowed to use this gun, if he only loads it to 10+1? The 1911 Society rules state:

Pistols
The definition of a 1911 Pistol is as follows: The 1911 Government Model as designed by John M. Browning and adapted by the U.S. Government as a service pistol, (commonly known as a 5 inch Gov't Model). To include any compact models.

Pistols
1911 Production Type Pistols Only, No comps, Barrel Weights, Barrel Ports, Optics, or any kind of Electronic Sighting Device, Factory Length Mags Only.

The USPSA rules state pretty much the same thing, just a little bit more "wordy".

The 9mm will be scored minor. Production would be the place for the LDA.

Being a double stack I don't think it would be allowed in Single Stack either.

I bought a Para p18 ltd to use in idpa ssp; I didn’t like the double reset and sold it. A few months later the “new rules” came out and they eliminated ithe Para by weight. Uspsa also eliminated STI’s single stack grip for their 2011’s by stating they needed to be made from “metal”.
