Sexy is as sexy does. My Custom Combo gun on a Caspian frame. 10mm, .45, and .38 Super. I also have a 9mm barrel that swaps into the .38/9mm slidle assembly. Two piece guide rods allow the slides to go on and come off as a unit. Targets are from today at the range, 7 shots each on the .45 & 10mm, 9 shots with the Super. Two hands, not bagged, at 25 yards for all. PS: These are half sized sillhouette targets, simulating 50 yards.. *********
Not the best photographic expetise but I couldnt pass up an opportunity to show off my polished Taurus. You might not believe this but Ive had this since the middle of July and still have not had a chance to go shoot it.
What was once the item on the right (a used, EE Kimber Tactical Custom II with some worn finish):
Has recently returned to me after a few odessys back to Kimber and then to Robar (redo the slide to IE, hand fittings of the barrel to the slide, slide to frame; NP3 frame, Roguard the external control surfaces, trigger job), to update it as much as possible:
After getting my "new" old 1911 back, I felt bad about the old holster I had for it, and bought it some new leather to match the new look:
And, just for kicks, a picture with the newness along with the usual assortment of items that travel with me on a day-to-day basis:
Now my keys and knife are starting to look old and ratty by comparison...
