CONGRATS !

Nice and orderly, that's what I like to see. Compliments on the clean work area. You keep doing it just like that and you'll have no issues.

1st batch shot well. Cylcled well. Just loaded another 50 rounds. 115 gn Hornady fmj, 4.2 gn HP-38. Press: Lyman All-American, Dies: RCBS Carbide. This truly is fun, but I think I will enjoy getting even more precise and specific with a .308 round. I would really like to load some reduced recoil rounds for my 9 year old in .308. I think he will have more fun shooting. On a side note, I do notice my powder measure kind of "hanging up" when I turn the handle back down to drop the powder. Is this normal?

Very nice. I shot 50 rounds of test loads in .357 this morning. Gonna bump the charge .1 Gr. (Light target/plinking load)

It appears you have an RCBS Uniflo Powder Measure. Yes, there can be times when it is a bit "sticky."

After you're done loading this session, clean it all out and make sure there are no small burrs of metal that may need a file or Dremel. Also, you may want to consider the Micrometer Adjustment for that measure, it works perfectly!

it's also smaller than a new uniflo apparantly. The baffle I ordered won't fit in the tube. And the cap RCBS sent me is too big. Any ideas?

Hey, congrats on the 1st rounds.
It's quite an experience to load your first rounds.

I'd give RCBS a call & see what they say about the cap & the baffle.
