I am loading 10mm for the first time. I have 2lbs of Longshot and 1K of 180 gr FMJ bullets that a buddy of mine gave me.

My brass is Range brass with a lot of once fired Star Line. I will be using Mighty Armory Dies.

De-priming on my MEC Marksman before tumbling and then I will load them on my 750.

My barrel length is 8".

Sort brass by head stamp!
Brass varies considerably between manufacturers. Many smaller outfits use proprietary stamped Starline, so it helps to know who does use Starline. (Starline is typically the best).
Loading in volume, go for accuracy with adequate power. LongShot has been good for me but came along after my foray into 10mm. I find the “10mm Short” (aka .40S&W) to be more than enough! My LongShot loads in the .40 approach standard factory loads in the 10mm. I’ve got over 5 gallons of brass so call it a life time supply...

I use Longshot for range loads in my G20, XDM Elite and Hi-Point carbine. Shoots good in all of them. It’s not at max listed but .2 gr below.

8” barrel? What are you shooting them out of?

Thanks for the suggestion. I was planning to sort the brass after cleaning.

Unfortunately I only own one .45 cal suppressor, (Gemtech UMP Suppressor), and it is specific to my HK UMP Clone only that I built with all Brand New HK UMP Parts. I am planning to pick up another 45 cal suppressor that can fit some of my other toys.

Good score. Longshot and 10mm would be the last powder and last caliber Id ever part with. True story.

Hopefully they are true FMJs and not plated? Plated or TMJs are quite common in this caliber. I had a terrible time with plated rounds even as low as 1,200 fps..... which 1,200 fps. is kiddies play velocity for the 10mm and 180 grainers. Hee he.
Good score. Good luck!
FYI -book recipes are spot on in this combo. They are great. You won't be disappointed, guaranteed (unless they're plated bullets :))
