I read this in another post. Is this true? I haven't heard of this before. A slug getting all sideways & obstructing the bore could be quite hazardous, to say the least.ARGarrison wrote
... 2 3/4" and 3" slugs CAN NOT BE USED IN 3 1/2" CHAMBERS. The extra length in the chamber allows the slug to wobble before getting to the barrel, thus the slug can hang up and block the barrel. You'll need to only use 3 1/2" slugs with a 3 1/2" chamber. 2 3/4" and 3" slug loads are abundent so many can be found when testing your shotgun to see which load it likes best.
