I have yet to feel the need for two concealed firearms at once. Regardless, of what some think, amount of risk is a factor. Amount of risk is not always diminished just by carrying another firearm. Amount of risk can just as easily be reduced by situational awareness and observation skills. Living in a low risk area helps too. As others have said, I have no issue with what others use/do. One needs to do what is right for them. As for having my weapon fail, I use what has always worked and maintain it. I use ammo I know performs and I practice regularly to keep my marksmanship skills honed. Wasn't but a few years ago, that it even became legal for me to CWC. Back when I couldn't CWC, I had to make use of observation skills and situational awareness in lieu of a firearm. Having a firearm on me now makes me much more comfortable. Not to say that in a different scenario I wouldn't feel differently.
