Sigh. With the draconian Canadian Gun laws and the fact that you can no longer shoot (legally at least) these rifles, the prices have dropped. A good friend of mine offered to sell me his as new FN FAL with five mags for $250 CDN. But don't have the proper paper work to buy one of these Prohibted rifles (I can however pruchase any prohitibed handgun) so I had to pass. What next $50 .50 cals?

But then it could at least be sold and not be a black cloud of "what if I'm caught" hanging over the person's head.

Is that an FN-made rifle, or the even more collectable/desireable Canadian made C1A1? What I would give for one of those............but it will never happen, as I am in the US :(

Meet me at the border 25 miles west of the Pembina border checkpoint on the dirt road at 3PM tomorrow.

//Wishes it was that easy. Probably is, but I've never tried.
///If any feds are watching, I am kidding.

Even better, leave the hat off (including tinfoil liner!) and be hanging the laundry out on the clothesline at 3PM. Gives the spy satellites a good picture.

If millions of Mexicans can just walk across our southern border without being caught, I imagine Canadian FALs can make the journey across our northern border without too much trouble, either.

Meet me in a boat on Lake of the Woods . . . I'll send GPS coordinates later via secure scrambled line . . . wait for my signal.

Hysterically illicit. We do not discuss illegal activities on THR, and certainly not federal crimes.

I feel your pain...

A guy I work with offered to sell me his FAL for $300, but I know he built it from a kit, and it doesn't have the "legal" number of US parts to be able to have a pistol grip and flash suppressor on it, so I passed.

Mr. Moderator, I'm sure that everyone here knows that the only person who'd make an appointment for something this illicit on a public forum - AND ACTUALLY KEEP THE APPOINTMENT - is Agent Schmuckatelli himself.

With an armed response team standing by . . . and at least one camera crew to document his good work.

But it still raises an interesting point . . . what if Canada, with its Nazi-like gun laws, became known as a major source of illegal gunrunning?
