Few designs are original any more. If Ruger had announced that the LCR was going to be made in 22LR, I suspect I would have to buy one. Ruger, you saved me from myself.

It's a gun guys, either buy it and shoot it, stick it in your holster and defend yourself with it, or go buy a Glock, 1911, or whatever pistol you feel you should trust your life with and continue on with your lives.
Exactly!

If Ruger keeps making weapons that are similar to Kel Tec, I'm not going to complain... Mainly because the competition might lower the prices on the RFB and the KSG

I wouldn't buy a mini 14 so why would i buy there garbage pistol? And with that price tag i could buy a real gun a M&P!
So why would anybody(ALL the Ruger bashers posting in this thread) spend time and effort complaining about a weapon they'll never own anyway?

The Kahr CW9 has the same width, is lighter, shorter in length, shorter in height, has a longer barrel and same capacity. Definitely far from "the next handgun I MUST own"

I didn't like the feel of shooting the Glock sub-compact model in 9mm, it just didn't fit well in my hand. I was thinking about looking at the PF9, since I don't have a lot of money to spend on a carry piece, and I was glad to see that there may be another choice at a reasonable price.

Now that I think about it, I think I'm more excited about Sig's new P290. No manual safety, and I don't know, but IIRC Sig is not known for internal locks. Just wish I had an idea of pricing.

The only Sig I own is the Mosquito, and it does in fact have the magazine safety. Will not fire if not magazine is inserted.
