What powder do you guys use to best velocity and accuracy out of 204 32 gn and 40 gn Vmax. Thanks

I use CFE223 with 39 grain Blitzkings and 40 grain V-Max.

Accurate 2230 with 32 grain V-Max.

I have also used H4895 with 32 grain V-Max and get good accuracy but it is a pain to meter the stick powder through te 204 Ruger's small neck.

I use several but H322 is a good choice, if you want ball powder H335 works well

I've used mostly BL-C(2) in the .204; according the the first published data I saw it came the closest to factory loaded velocity but I haven't actually run any over the chrony. With 40gr bullets I can regularly shoot 1/2 MOA groups with my loads, although I tried 5 or 6 other powders and was able to get similar results I stuck with the BL-C(2) because it meters great and goes into the cases easily. Win748 is very similar and I've used it as well. Other good ones for me were Varget, H322, and H335. I haven't messed around much with the 32gr bullets, as my rifle seems to shoot the 39/40s better.

I got good results with Varget under 40 gr Bergers.Top end was 3950,but if I held them to 3750-3800,accuracy was noticeably better.

Varget, BL-C(2), H335, CFE-223 and a few others will all give you high velocities and probably good accuracy too with the right loads.

My shooting buddy has been using IMR 8208 and with a 40gr Hornady bullet his velocities are high and accuracy is amazing. You might want to give that powder a try.
