.204 ruger thoughts

Lots of people like them because of low recoil letting you see the hits through your scope. Hard to find on the shelves though.

the 204 is annoying to me as the casings look like 223 casings and I have to sort them out of the brass I pick up. :/

Reckon they joined on the same day so that they could carry on a conversation??

well your right we both like our varmints im guessing we get mad people our calibers choices tho i dont mean to

I like my .204. It is very very acurate (les baer super varmint) and yes you can spot your hits through the scope with ease. Ammo runs about 17 bucks a box for the hornaday 32 grain stuff. It is total destruction on sage rats and jack rabbits, makes short work of crows to. Not my first choice for a population control coyote rifle but for saving hides is is a good way to go. I haven't had an exit wound on any decent size coyote with the 32 grain Vmax inside of 300 yards. If I am just going out to smoke down some dogs I will grab the 25.06 befor the .204.
I have been shooting my LBC .204 since 2006 so it has more than a few rounds down the tube and I don't think I will ever let it go.

When you say "I", I assume you reference yourself. However, when you reference "we", I question if it is perhaps a reference to the voice in my head? :scrutiny: Relax. We all have them. The favorite voice in my head is named "Betty". It gets fun when I tuck myself into bed and start sayin' goo'nigh' to all the voices...sounds like the Waltons.

By the way, "Betty" says that anyone who claims to hunt varmints and doesn't like the .223 or .308 is just silly. Don't blame the messenger!
