Wasilla Alaska the 21st Annual Half-a-Beef Shoot has been moved from King Mt Lodge to the Tug Bar/Goose Bay Inn at mi 18.5 Knik Rd. April 23 and 24. Everybody is welcome - this is a family event. The two day event includes: Satuday - centerfire rifle 5 shots, offhand, any sights, 100 yds and handgun 5 shots, offhand, iron or open sights 50 ft., Bar-B-Q and band Saturday night. Sunday - shotgun 10 shots "Chickaloon Trap" and 22 rimfire 5 shots, open or peep sights, 50 ft. Friday night and Saturday night Annie Oakley shotgun shoots. Prizes through 3rd Place each event, Best Overall Day prizes, and Best Overall Shooter (points) wins 1/2 beef and 12 month's bragging rights as Best Damn Shot in Alaska! $60 - bargain for that much fun and comraderie.
