Howdy, folks.

Is it possible to find a bolt-action rifle chambered in 22-250 for under 300? I'd be willing to put some work into it but I'd like something that can make me grin from the box.

I'm not a handloader (yet) and I'd like to experiment with factory loads along with building up handloads...once I get said rifle, I'll be asking for your "recepies" for 22-250.

One last question, I know it's on the cheaper end of the spectrum, but has anyone shot Prvi Partisan from their 22-250 rifles?

Stephens 200 is your best bet. They're right at that price. I don't own one but I have a couple of friends that do and they like them. Decent little gun for the price.

The Stevens is probably the only way to go. They're in your price range and they're accurate. Not to mention easily upgradable. Oh and unlike the Savages they don't have the Accutrigger.

As mentioned, the Stevens probably fits your circumstance best. But for just a little more money you could have the Savage upgrade replete with the "AccuTrigger".
