22-250?

Accurate to a fault, almost like the 6mm Norma BR. I can get a little over 3900 fps with 52 grain bullets, and typically sub MoA groups.

The barrel does copper up a lot, and accuracy is around 1500 rounds at most.

KFDiesel : You know when a barrel is worn out, when your groups begin to open up. In the case of my 6mm BR, I will change barrels when the average group size goes from .3 inches (5 shots c2c) to over .5. Still accurate for most, but worn out for me. A borescope would be more precise in telling you when the barrel has gone to the happy hunting grounds, but a target is equally effective.

For you wondering about the 22-250. My first BDL was a one. Loved the trajectory but not the knock down. Went to a wildcat (was then) and loaded my own 25-06. Loved that gun, have no idea why I got rid of it. New kids and broke I think. Then went to the .243. Just don't care for in but no good reason. FYI all three of those have almost the same trajectory. I have settled in on my new .308 and love it. Cheap ammo from Academy also. Just my 2 cents worth. Have a couple .223's also. Cheap and fun but ?????? Back pasture Varmints I use my CZ bull .17HMR head shots nail driver up to 125 yards. If something really angers me and is to be hunted down and brutally shot dead, out comes the rusty old pre 64 Winchester 30-30.
