I am working through a couple of ziplock bags of range brass. Seems to be a lot of PSD (Korean) and MKE (Turkish?) and IK (Yugo).

Is any of this stuff worth processing? The IK brass seems to have small and/or off center flash holes. I bent a decapping pin on my Lee Decapping die on a piece of IK brass. I started trashing those.

PSD or MKE - any feedback?

The 1K is Bosnian. It has super skinny flash holes that will bend or break your decapping pin, including the "unbreakable" pin in the Lee Universal Decapper. Trash them.

The others are OK.

I've had great luck with PSD/PMC brass, seems pretty consistent. Only complaint is a fair amount of off-center flash holes, but they aren't off by enough to cause decapping problems for me and I have shot some good scores with it (before I even noticed the flash holes). I still scoop it up when I see it laying around....

I've broken three RCBS decapping pins on the "1k" headstamp .223/556 cases due to small diameter primer flash-holes. I have drilled out the holes to a larger size and they work fine, it's just a PIA to do and subsequently just toss them out.

best wishes- oldandslow

Thanks guys - I'll keep going with the PSD and MKE brass and toss the IK. 223 brass prep takes long enough as it is without have to drill out the flash-holes. That falls into the same category as removing the crimp on 9mm - I'd rather not do it.

I have over 1k already prepped so it's not like I'll miss a handful of IK brass :)
