I have a Stoeger double 28 I have shot a lot of dove and quail with. Now that Winchester is factory loading steel for the 28, I thought would make a good little teal load. The owners manual make no mention of using steel. Its choked IC and Mod. The gun is probably 10 years old. Any thoughts?
Thanks

You should be fine with a modified or i/c choke, I have shot the winchester #6 steel through my 28ga O/U at game farm quail. Seemed to work pretty good, considering there is only 5/8oz of shot. Should do the trick on teal right over the decoys.

I shoot steel 7's at them now, out of my 12 ga. I.C. knocks down out to 35 yards or so. You shooting them out of a Condor?
