I settled on AA-XMR-4350, nosler 140 ballistic tips in Winchester nickle plated cases. Sparked by wlr primers. No load data, my load would most likely NOT work in another rifle.

The rifle is a tang safety Ruger heavy barrel varmint model, 26" BBL. It was never a tack driver, long throat made for a long bullet jump. It would hold 1-¼ inches with a good load.

Deadly on deer, usually a bang-flop.

I load mostly 120 Ballistic Tips, 120 TSX, and am going to pick up some 140 Accubonds. The 120 B-tip has been a great bullet for antelope and mule deer. my son also has 2 elk from his 7-08 using that bullet.
