28ga 1100 Rise and Cast

I have a 28ga 1100 Remington and looking down the rib when mounted I am high. I’m looking for suggestions on lowering the comb.
 
May have been someones skeet gun that was set up to shoot a bit high. I like to have the bird above the bead so I can see it better. Not sure that you can lower it without shaving wood off or getting another stock and seeing if it needs to be lowered also.

Put on one of those ugly fiber optic magnetic front sights. You can find one that is taller than the original. That will lower poa somewhat.

I have all kinds of ways to raise the comb. Only one to lower it.
Two. Tilt your head forward to lower the eye, or a reverse comb, where the comb is carved out and lowered.
Actually, three. You could mount a Morgan pad on it and put the top of the pad about 2" above the stock at the heel.
 
Increase LOP thus forcing your head further back on the comb. 2-3" will probably work.
 
Well this is what I did to lower the comb on my 1100 28ga purchased new.
I made a new Stock Bearing Plate .125 thick and milled it at an angle (thinner at the bottom) gently bent the Action Spring tube downward about 1/4” at a time bolting the stock back on each time with the butt pad for proper length. Then with a thin Japanese saw using my vise as a guide I trimmed the bottom 1/2” and very bottom detent where the stock is recessed to fit into the receiver (not the end of the stock). There is a small gap in the fit however when I raise the gun to my cheek my eye is level with the Vent Rib.
I also did this to my SX4 cutting the angle on the stock since there isn’t a Stock Bearing Plate on my Winchester. I also had to turn smaller the
