I think it only fires blanks, but does anyone want to calculate the muzzle energy if it fired a bullet? And will it stop a charging cockroach?

It was either $29.95 or $39.95 when I first saw that thing in 1974. Being a kid, you don't have that kinda money (OK, I did but it was in the bank and I couldn't withdraw it).

Dixie Gun Works sells a single shot .177 powered by a primer. There's an article on it in the most recent issue of Backwoodsman. Looks kinda interesting, if worthless.
