2nd Amendment Magnet Ribbons, Pre-Order Now

I'd like to throw my name in the ring for an order of 5, whichever design and color gets the nod at the end. (I'll also be out of town Friday - Thursday, so let me know when I need to get the funds to whomever)

OK, once again I talked with the MagnetAmerica.com graphic people and straightened out the color confusion... whew! I think we are ready to go!!!

Below is the proof I'm sending to MagnetAmerica.com. Its based on their latest proof, and has the color ordeal all down pat. I'll post their proof, which will look the same, when they send it to me (I haven't post their previous proof because of problems, but now we're all on the same page... I hope... hah!).

FYI: The gray color will be a silver metallic ink. It will not look as dark as it does in this image, because the lighting will make it look significantly brighter/lighter. I made a visit to a local Kinkos and checked out a physical example of the exact silver color (PMS silver 877 in case anyone wants to know), and its a neat looking color that varies with the lighting.

Received MagnetAmerica's proof yesterday... but it somehow ended up with blue borders around the ribbon instead of he silver ones We are now waiting for another proof from them

Hmmm. I'm wondering what happens if these magnets get real popular. I'd like to take them by a couple three gun shops and see if there is any interest in selling them at the counter. Is it going to be possible to get a reorder at the same price if they go over real well?

Yes to those who ask if a re-order is possible. I've discussed this with MagnetAmerica. They wouldn't give an up-front discount on the possibility of a re-order, but they will take into account the size of this initial order when (if) we do order more.

And if it gets real popular, we can drive the price still lower.

We only have 695 pre-ordered, so there are still plenty for distribution if you find anyone wanting a fairly large order.

It's gonna be hard to wait for delivery now.

If the demand is not high enough right now, it will be by the time it gets to the printing press - I'd say, Go for it!

GOT If I already committed to 10 of #2 in this thread do I still need to place an order at www.davrow.com? I don't want to place an order there and make it look like I ordered 20 betweem THR and dav's site.

We have almost 700 pre-orders, so we have a few hundred extra at this point.

Estimated delivery date is November 19th.

Since we have an actual order placed, it is time to get the word out. I'm going to do a little more work on the website to try to make it friendlier (designed at 1024 x 768, should have made it fit smaller screens).

And if any one wants to order from you, feel free to take orders. You can pass the orders along to me, or if you want to mark-up the price and sell them yourself that is fine, too.

I'm holding the price as low as I can for THR and other gun board folks, but even I will be selling at full retail in my wife's eBay store.
