3 gun style ar...what to get??

Ok...I'm looking for another AR-15. This time I would like to get something in an 18" gun with a good trigger and a heavier barrel. It would primarily be used for shooting 200-400 yds at paper or varmints.

I really like Daniel Defense's V11 Pro, but I am hoping to get one in the $1500 price range. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You want a 3-gun AR or a target/varmint AR? Sounds like the latter.

I like the features of a 3gun style, but realistically this rifle will shoot more coyotes, prairie dogs and paper than anything. 18", heavy barrel with a good trigger and a brake. No A2 stocks.

Rock River ATH, I switched to one about 4 years ago for 3 Gun plus varmint shooting and love it.

$1,250 at Buds.

Giessle trigger, match 18" free float barrel, nice stock. Only the optic is missing.

My one gripe with these is that the brake is too effective, pshing the muzzle down with each shot.
