I am using 300 ACC Black Out, my spent factory casings, 1st time reloading them, just spent time again resetting crimp die readjusted the die and bullet seating , the only thing to work was to lightly lube on the boat tail bullet with spray lube "One Shot" and it fit the head spacing gage afterwards.
spent casings I checked wall thickness at .012" this is factory casings , over all case length is 1.356" to 1.360"
Thanks everyone who responded after resetting the crimp die , praying some , murphy's law went away I managed to seat some bullets without any bulges in the casing's , yes these several attempts were for my initial crimp die set up there were no primers or powder just the casings and bullets. Sometimes you got to hold your mouth just right and measure , measure some more!Having a issue with sizing die , .308 " to .303" after full length step one, fits head spacing gage /next when seating bullet a boat tail .308" the case neck bulges. confused on what is the problem operator error or die not right.
