So you are going to ignore what Hornady has on their site and quote their older load manual which has been superseded by the 9th Edition manual.
Are you really willing to use a match bullet for hunting and change injuring an animal which could possible suffer for a very long time? That is unethical and completely avoidable by using the proper hunting bullets.
What exactly do you think happens to the A-Max when it impacts an animal? You are acting like it will instantly cease to abide by the laws of physics.
And trying to discredit a load manual simply because the company has released a newer manual is really reaching. Using that logic all of the data within the book is now invalid
The A-Max works just fine as a hunting bullet on light skinned game. Bullet placement is still the top priority. And the A-Max will penetrate plenty well after impact.
