The answer is in the OP. You want the Whelen. Get the Whelen. What we’re talking about here is fun and I like reading these debates as much as anybody (till it gets nasty...then I want to vomit). Someone wisely posted on an early thread of mine, if the answer to every question is the .30-06, the world would be pretty boring. IS the answer .30-06? Well in once sense, yes. But will that make you happy going to the range? It does me. But so does my .375 HH and my .338WM (both of which are wildly over powered for what I do!). So, get the .35 and enjoy it!
