340PD Trigger Problem - I Think?

I just noticed that the trigger of my 340pd is off center. By this, I mean that the trigger is angled to the right so far that it is even with the trigger guard on the right side of the gun. I've had no problem firing the gun and everything seems in good mechanical order. I was wondering is this normal? All of my other guns have triggers alligned right in the middle of the trigger guard. I've put quite a few rounds through this gun and haven't noticed this trigger issue until now. Although it may have been like this since I bought it, I'm concerned that I in some whay have bent it or am bending it with each range session. If the trigger moves any more the gun will, in my oppinion, not be safe for carry due to the risk of the trigger snagging on something. I was going to send it back to S&W but thought to enlist the help of some High Roaders first. Thanks in advance!

It would seem that the "offset" trigger is normal. ALL of my MIM, late-model J frames have offset triggers. Either its normal or I have some Js that need to go in for warranty repair...

Thanks for the reply. It makes me feel better that it is something that is not getting worse / dangerous.
