Where can you buy 9mm that cheap?

Stopped into my local WalMart late last night (around midnight) and caught some 9mm ammo in stock. $9.47 per box of 50 rounds for Federal Champion, 115 gr. FMJ.

They wanted I think $23.something for a 50 count box of WWB .38 Special hollow point. They wanted $30 per 50 for WWB .357 Mag. Since I reload those I passed on picking any up.

While they might be starting to have cheap ammo on the shelves after a long dry spell, if you read some of the posts in the Strategies and Tactics forum, really bad things happen to people at Wal-Mart!

Guess I haven't read through S&T in too long. The worst that happened to me was that I had to wait for a cashier to open another register for the "midnight rush" of about five people and she checked my ID and hit button in the register.
